Welcome to the beta-testing programme.

National Grid Electricity System Operator’s Demand Flexibility Service pays Power Rewards customers for using less electricity when the grid is under stress. There will be Grid events throughout the winter with the payment based on per kWh of electricity demand reduction.

If you have a solar Battery that is able to export to grid(This can be tested during the event), You can join our trial with National grid ESO Demand Flexibility Service.

You can be with any suppliers and any tariff to join the trial. There is no need to change supplier for the trial

You need a smart meter to take part.

In most of the cases, we will need to check that you have an export MPAN registered with exporting data available to us.

You can only join one flexibility service with one provider. If you are already with a flexibility provider, you will not be able to join our scheme.

You will need to provide the last four characters of the smart meter IHD number to give consent of your smart meter data which is required for the National Grid half-hourly settlement.
